update on Eddy

Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you so much for your prayers for our first visit to Dr.
Weinberg. He has ordered blood work and a new MRI of Eddy’s neck.
He has the MRI next Tuesday, which was the first available
appointment. We see Dr. Weinberg again next Thursday, Feb. 23,
which is when we were supposed to fly back to Kenya—so, we will
be delayed. But God knows. We apparently got bacterial dysentery
again eating out in Nairobi before we left for Jo’berg—we have
both been SO sick!!!! We went to the doctor and got meds today,
so please pray we’ll be better quick!! But thinking about God’s timing,
we realize as sick as Eddy (and I) have been, he probably couldn’t
physically do the MRI before Tuesday anyway. God knew that, and
worked it out.
Thank you for your continued prayers for a solution to Eddy’s arm/
hand pain. We look forward to seeing Him work. His grace is
sufficient. He has so sweetly shown us through all this that we have
been blessed with WONDERFUL Samburu friends who love us. The
highlight for me last week was being on my face on the back porch
with two of my best Samburu friends, crying out to God for His
healing for Eddy (and for rain!!!), while one of my friends literally
wet my hand with her tears. We cried out to God in THREE languages–
English, Samburu, and Swahili. We KNOW God heard. Thank you so
much for adding your prayers to those of these sweet Samburu friends.
