Prayer Request from the Simmons Family

Dear Friends and Family,
Today has been an eventful day. Dr. Weinburg told us the MRI of
Eddy’s neck show that “disk material” is pressing on the sac around
Eddy’s spinal cord. He isn’t sure if this is the total cause of
Eddy’s arm/hand pain, but this condition is serious and he wants it
treated right away. He immediately admitted Eddy to the hospital for
3 days of intensive traction. If the traction helps, then we will be
able to continue with more conservative treatments. If traction
doesn’t help, he said “intervention” would be needed (probably
surgery). Please pray that the traction will work, without causing
too much pain. And thank the Lord with us that Eddy was sent to South
Africa where this proper diagnosis was made! Pray for continued
wisdom for Dr. Weinberg. Pray for the children and for the Daniels,
as this means further delays in our return to Kenya. We will let you
know next week how the Lord has worked! Thank you SO much for your
prayers.
