Successful surgery!

Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you so much for your prayers! The surgery went well this
morning! The surgery was complicated, involving cutting muscles,
making a new passage for the nerves, and then replacing the muscles.
The surgeon said Eddy’s nerves were completely entrapped by scar
tissue and extremely inflamed, thus causing his severe pain. We are
SO thankful that the surgery is over, and are asking the Lord for
complete, swift recovery so we can move on in the calling the Lord
has burned in our hearts to reach the Samburu for Christ. We so
appreciate your partnership of prayer in this!!

Amanda, I knew you and Eddy in high school and stumbled on this weblog while surfing the internet. I’m sorry to hear that Eddy is in pain, but I hope for a safe and quick recovery so that you all can continue your good works. Best, Russell Shaddox
