Prayer Walk thru the town of Sirata Orobi with us this week. Charlie is working to begin a T4T group in this area, which has historically been a difficult place for evangelical missionaries. We hear the church in this area has a habit of working to save “good” people. The “bad” ones are rejected and called “devils”.  One man last week said he wanted to be saved, but that something was holding him back. That “something” turned out to be local church members.  What a testimony to the mercy, grace and power of God it would be for some of these “devils” to become saved and begin new lives in Christ.

Last week there was a good group at the meeting; today there were none. Charlie has been invited to meet next week at the chief’s house with a group and some women have also arranged to meet with him.

Pray for freedom from this false Christianity which seeks to choose only those seen “worthy” of salvation. Pray that many in this area will come to understand that God desires that ALL come to repentance. Pray for a mighty show of God’s power and freedom in Christ for those in bondage to lies and deception. Pray that God will start a church in this area that will be His Body doing His Work.
