Further treatment needed

The nerve conduction test I (Sandra) had in June showed damage on both the left and right side, caused by the bulging disks pressing against the nerves. I will head to S. Africa on July 14th to see a specialist there who will be able to determine what needs to be done. I have been able to spend the last week at home in Maralal with the family, which has been a great blessing. We spent some time separated in June as I stayed in Nairobi while they returned to Maralal. None of us are looking forward to the time we will spend apart while I go to Johannesberg for evaluation and treatment. If surgery is needed, we are looking at several weeks. Pray for us all to be at peace during this time. Pray for Charlie as he again will be home with Joseph and Sam. In addition to being “Mr. Mom”, he will be working on packing the house to get ready for Stateside Assignment. We are scheduled to leave Kenya on September 6th. This is not the way I would have chosen to finish up this term, but I am learning to say…”If it pleases you, God, it pleases me.” Pray for us as the Lord leads you. Sandra
