from death to life

A house built for death has now become a beacon of hope eternal. I (Charlie)
visited an old mama today who has been left alone in a house built for the
purpose of her living alone, separated, waiting to die. We brought a home
health care kit to her provided by Baptist Global Response. This kit will
bring this mama a short time of comfort that she has not enjoyed in a long
time, if ever.
She shared that her husband has died and all her children have died. “So
why have I been allowed to live, even though I am sick and have been moved
here to die?” As the Gospel of Jesus was shared with her today she said,
“Now I understand why I am alive. God has kept me so I could hear this news
that God loves me and that this Jesus has come and died for me so I can live
and be with God. I have never heard this news before and I thank God that He
has sent you all to tell this wonderful news.”
