In addition to crutches, this woman also wears leg braces. She was baptized last week. Samburu district hospital where they distributed food this week.
This is the maternity ward at the hospital. They also gave food out at the Maralal hospital.
Two women received food. Man in town receiving food. Blind man with child leading him received some of the food.
Whenever the councilor invites us for a ceremony at the Home, he asks one of our pastors to preach. After the short sermon today, this man prayed with the pastor and asked Jesus to save him. :) Charlie, Joseph and I standing outside the dorm rooms at the Good Samaritan Home for the Aged. Facility is run by a local politician using money from his business earnings. He owns a book shop and a driving school in Maralal.
Bagging up food to deliver. An old woman sits on one of the beds donated by Elwood Baptist Church. The old man is trying to get her to look at the camera. Charlie cuts the "ribbon" (masking tape) to the men's bedroom.
