This elderly Mama is taking care of 4 of her grandchildren because their parents have died. Maize seeds were distributed today. This Mama asked for seeds last week from a local offical and was denied. She has been praying all week that God would help her. And today, He answered her prayer.
Over 20 people received seeds in order to plant corn for their families. Kenya media has reported a shortage of seed corn.
The girl on the right is the youth who told the story of Moses on Serian radio. She will broadcast again this weekend. This man prayed to receive Christ today during the seed distribution. He is ill and needed help even to carry his seed as he could barely walk.
The ground here has been dug in preparation for planting. Pray that as families receive and plant this seed that God will bring rain and a good harvest so that He may be glorified and draw people to Himself. Handing out seeds and praying for a harvest.
