Pokot and Samburu working together! Joseph (voluntarily) does a little math during the meeting. Even the men can sew.
Everyone worked hard today. It was great. This man is the first Pokot teacher to come to training. He would not walk through/to town alone, but you can see he was well received here. They are using nylon food sacks to sew alphabet charts.
hahahaha!
On the wall are alphabet word charts, in 3 languages. Eunice and I worked making sand/letter cards while the teachers sewed their gunias. We made a mess so we must have done something right.
James keeps Joseph busy today. First they finish the edges to keep them from unravelling. Then they will stich the individual letters on.
